As an APIL registered expert Mr Wade has undertaken the preparation of medical reports for the last 8 years initially as a specialist registrar and now as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon, preparing over 200 reports a year for the defendant, claimant and as a joint instruction. 

Having attended a number of medico legal training courses.  Photographic evidence is provided with reports if it is felt to be helpful. With significant experience attending court as an expert witness on a number of orthopaedic issues and in low velocity impact cases, Mr Wade of Ortho Experts provides a complete and comprehensive expert medico-legal service.

Clinical Expertise & Track record

North Staffordshire NHS Trust is one of the busiest NHS Orthopaedic Trauma Centres in the UK, operating on 2 Full Lists every day. Mr Wade has held the post of Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon since January 2003.  The treatment of trauma victims within the trust is a consultant led service, accepting tertiary referrals from all of the surrounding district general hospitals, undertaking the treatment of all complex trauma cases. 

With a specialist interest in all aspects of trauma orthopaedics, Mr Wade's elective interests are arthroscopic surgery and sports injuries.  Mr Wade has ongoing research projects in trauma surgery and aspects of the prevention of osteoarthritis.
